Partner With Us

Bring Us a
Problem You
Can’t Solve Alone.

Trenton Collective works with organizations and residents across every sector shaping this city. Tell us the outcome you are trying to move, and we will tell you honestly whether shared data, shared measurement, or coordination is what the problem actually needs.

Who we work withEight kinds of partner

Different Seats,
Same Table.

Collective action does not mean everyone does the same thing. It means each partner contributes what only they can, toward an outcome all of them have agreed to.

Nonprofits

You know your part of the system better than anyone. We help you see the rest of it: where your work connects to other organizations, what the data says about who is being missed, and how to measure outcomes without adding reporting that serves no one. Your programs stay yours.

Government Agencies

We support city and county partners with analysis, resident input, and coordination across the organizations delivering on public priorities — and with measurement that shows whether a strategy is working while there is still time to adjust it.

Funders

We help funders see the whole field rather than one grantee at a time: where investments overlap, where gaps persist, and what shared outcomes would look like across a portfolio. We can also carry the shared measurement that individual grants cannot fund alone.

Schools

Schools carry needs that reach far beyond the classroom. We help connect school priorities to the youth, family, and health organizations working with the same students, and to data that shows where support is missing.

Businesses

Employers hold information about skills demand, hiring, and advancement that training providers rarely see. We translate that into shared measures so workforce efforts in Trenton align with jobs that actually exist and pay a living wage.

Community Leaders

Block associations, faith leaders, barbers, organizers, and neighborhood advocates are where trust already lives. We work with community leaders to shape what gets asked, hosted, and prioritized — not just to publicize decisions after they are made.

Residents

Residents define the agenda. That means surveys and listening sessions designed to be worth your time, results returned to you in plain language, and a standing invitation to tell us when our read of Trenton is wrong.

Researchers & Data Partners

Universities, evaluators, and data organizations bring rigor we do not have to duplicate. We offer local context, community relationships, and questions that matter to people making decisions in Trenton right now.

What to expect

From First Email
to Shared Goal.

No lengthy onboarding, no obligation to join anything. The first step is a specific conversation about a specific problem.

If we are not the right fit

We will say so. Some problems need a direct-service provider, a grant, or a policy change — not a backbone organization. Where we can, we will point you toward who can help.

01Week one

A conversation

Thirty minutes on what you are trying to move, what you already know, and what you cannot see. No deck required.

02Next

An honest scope

We come back with what we think the actual problem is, what data would be needed, who else should be in the room, and what we can realistically contribute.

03Then

A defined starting point

A survey, an assessment, a convening, or a measurement design — something concrete and small enough to test whether working together is useful.

04Ongoing

Into the cycle

If it works, the group moves into the full model: shared understanding, shared goals, coordinated action, measurement, and learning.

Start the conversation

Tell Us What
You’re Trying
to Change.

The more specific you can be, the more useful our first reply will be. If you are a resident with something we should know, that counts too — you do not need an organization to write to us.

Sharing data with us

If you hold data that could help the city see a problem more clearly, say so below. Data shared with us stays yours, and use is limited to the purpose we agree in writing.

Specific beats polished. A few honest sentences is plenty.

We read everything that comes in and aim to reply within a few business days.
